2019 FHA & Conforming Loan Limits Increased The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) has increased the maximum amount on conforming loans in 2019 from $453,100 to $484,350 in most places. This means a home buyer can borrower up to this amount, and the loan can be underwritten to the guidelines of Fannie Mae and/or Freddie Mac.
